Bao Research Group
Yupeng Zhang is currently a postdoctoral research fellow at the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Monash University (Australia). He received his BE degree (2005) in Materials Science and Engineering from Wuhan University of Technology (China) and his PhD degree (2014) in Materials Physics and Chemistry from Wuhan University (China). His research interests include the synthesis, optical properties and device applications of low-dimensional metalhalide perovskites.
Zhigao Dai is currently a postdoctoral research fellow at the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Monash University (Australia). He received his BE degree (2005) in Physics from Hubei Normal University (China) and his PhD degree (2015) in Condensed Matter Physics from Wuhan University (China). His research interests include Metasurface, Plasmonics and Phonon-Polaritons in low-dimensional materials.
Babar Shabbir is currently a Postdoc Fellow in Qiaoliang Bao's group since June 2017. In 2016, Babar graduated from University of Wollongong, Australia with a PhD in Physics. Before that he graduated with MSc (2006) and MPhil (2009) in Physics from Quaid I Azam University, Pakistan. His research area is two-dimensional materials with a focus on various applications such as Photodetectors, X-ray Detectors, Phonon Polaritons, Biosensors and Magnetic & Storage devices.
Kun Qi is currently a visitor at the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Monash University. He received his PhD degree in School of Materials Science and Engineering, Jilin University in 2017. His research focuses on two-dimensional materials for magnetics and optics applications
